We have heard a few reports of Google Chrome and other browsers not allowing access to the HughesNet Gen5 Modem home page at 192.168.0.1
Some customers have said they have issues accessing 192.168.0.1 from Internet Explorer, Edge and Firefox as well!
Here are a few solutions to try:
- Try a different browser if you have one installed! Safari (for MAC), Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge, etc.)
- Make sure you are entering the 192.168.0.1 address in the address bar of the browser, not in a search toolbar such as Google, Yahoo, etc.
- Try entering http://192.168.0.1 instead of just 192.168.0.1
- If you are using Google Chrome: go to chrome://flags and set “Built-in Asynchronous DNS” to “Disabled”, then restart the browser and try again.
